So, we drove from 6:00AM to 5:30PM today with about 4 stops along the way. We went 575 miles to Pendleton OR - the kids did awesome! I am really not overstating it in saying that there was not any crying or even arguing until the very last 30 minutes! I had activities planned for them hour by hour which helped alot and kept them occupied, but it worked even better than I thought it would. Tomorrow is only about 400 miles so it won't be nearly as long. We are looking forward to stopping at a large farmers market/fresh fruit stand in Washington mid-day and getting to grandma's house around 3:00 in the afternoon. We are having lots of fun at the hotel - swimming, watching TV, jumping on the bed (Hailey), and we will keep posting along the way!

Sounds like way more fun than the 108 degrees we are having down here in Texas!
I love your updates! Definately looks like fun with such cute kids, hopefully the rest of the trip goes as smooth as the first day drive.
