In anticipation of St. Patrick Day I thought I would post my top 10 favorite things about Dublin (that probably only my family members will find humorous or understand . . . .)
10. Shopping on Grafton Street, dodging everyone's second-hand smoke while trying to weave through the never ending fresh flower carts and street musicians
9. You want me to play basketball wearing what? (all the Irish girls would wear these stupid little skirt things to play sports in?!?)
8. Driving . . . . need I say more!

7. Crusty bread from the corner market
6. Telling any taxi driver to head to Lamb Doyle's pub in order to get home - somehow they all knew where that was
5. Realizing that nearly every other word someone is saying to you is completely vulgar, but only after you have been talking to them for 5 minutes!
4. St. Andrews - where you loose points on English papers for saying such 'American' things as sidewalk instead of foot path!

2. Bickies and Ribena
1. The moving truck blocking the entire road and the neighbors probably thinking that we were the craziest Americans they had ever seen!
