The PERFECT solution

Matt has come up with the perfect solution! Our kitchen chairs were getting pretty gross looking what with all of the small people running around my house. Additionally, every time we sit down to a meal someone ends up fighting over where to sit. BUT NOT MORE! For a mere $3 per chair my problems have been solved. We steam cleaned the existing chair cushion/fabric, dried them, popped out the seat from the chair frame, covered the existing fabric with a fabric of choice per child, covered that with really thin and flexible plastic, stapled around the back of the cushion, screwed the seat back into the frame, and VOILA - chairs with plastic cover for the spills and drips and each child has their own individualized chair so no more fights about who sits where!
