Chores, chores, chores

So, to be frank, I am tired of doing all of the chores around the house. I really don't like chore charts covering the fridge, but wanted something for the kids to use to have a visual reminder of the chores they need to do.

I got the idea from www.howdoesshe.com I came up with a list of chores that I thought the kids could do. I printed them and modge podged the tasks to posicle sticks.

Next, I cut down a 2x4 and with the help of some handy power tools, the blocks were turned into . . . .

Each morning the kids randomly pick 4 sticks. The sticks stay in their blocks until the task is complete then I goes back into the 'holding' block until tomorrow. I was pretty happy with it :)
