I have been cooking for a long time. I like to cook, bake, collect recipes, all of that. Today I made a chocolate cake that I have made 3 or 4 times before, and it has always turned out great. Today I make the same cake the same way and it is a DISASTER! Half of the cake sticks to the bottom of the greased pan, so we try to put it together anyway, cover it with a bit of frosting and who would know the difference right? WRONG! I mound it all up on the cake plate and actually watch as the stupid cake crumbles right before my very eyes. So long story short, Matt and Jake had some fun (the others were asleep) and we made a new cake (as of this post the new cakes are in the oven so I will let you know how they turn out :)

I am sure Matt and Jake were so sad to clean up the messy cake...the cake sounds so good, I need chocolate so bad right now!
When a good dessert falls apart, no one seems to mind. Yum.
You were always making something delicious in the kitchen...that cake looks really good, even if it did fall! I was just reading all of the things by the side of your blog...it's so fun! It sounds like you are going to have lots of fun on your roadtrips this summer, I'm sure your kids will have lots of fun memories from that!
I just have to ask what that Cinnabon and eggs meal is?

You'll have to tell us about the cinnabon and egg meal. I was wondering what that is, too.
Now I can't stop thinking about chocolate cake.
